Excerpt:
Holy shit. Katherine wanted Kal to bite her. The realization shocked her logical side, but the demanding throb in her loins was thrilled with the idea.
Swallowing, she watched as Kal slowly kissed his way up her body. He stopped long enough to suckle both nipples, then continued upward until he reached her neck. Motionless as a marble statue, she waited for the sting of his teeth piercing her flesh. The scratch of his stubble and the sharp points of his fangs were her undoing. Never had she been so turned on. Hot lava replaced her blood, and she was ready to explode like an erupting volcano.
Leaning her head back, she exposed her throat to his searching mouth. Seconds ticked by, but he didn’t bite. Instead he licked his way over her jaw before cupping her face.
Without speaking, he claimed her mouth. She tasted the tangy juices of her sex on his lips and tongue.
Slowly, Kal maneuvered her to the bed and eased her down, all the while their lips remained locked.
He broke contact. As he stood at the end of the bed, his hands went to the waist of his jeans.
Desire clouded her mind and body, but a small corner of her rational side spoke up. “Do you have a condom?”
His fingers stilled, and a deep frown scrunched his brow. “Ah…I bloody hope so. Shit. Let me go look.” He jogged toward the adjoining bathroom.
Katherine gasped. Between his shoulders was a tattoo of a nude woman reclining on her back. Long, black hair flowed around her shoulders and breasts. Her nipples stood high and hard. One leg bent at the knee hid her sex.
Although she’d never seen this tattoo before, she remembered the picture—the inspiration for the tattoo—very well.
The naked woman gracing Kal’s back was her.
