She loves to write Interracial romances in all genres, but wants to let everyone know to not box her in, because there is always room for growth.

Six Sentence Sunday 6 from Demon Mine.

Meet the characters from Demon Mine

In celebration of having finally finished my WiP Demon Mine (still have edits and polishing) I have decided to do another 6 from it. Hope you enjoy!

——————————————————————————————–

She drug her nails across his stomach once more watching as his cock jerked. A shiver traveled through her body as his hand cupped her ass and then he trailed finger down the crack of her ass.

“You’re playing with fire Lili.”

“No more than you are Samael. Not my fault you decide to ask twenty questions while we are naked in bed together.” Moving down his body, she placed her hand at the base of his cock, tightening her grip as she stroked him.

I hope you have enjoyed this little snippet of Demon Mine.

WiP Demon Mine has been completed.

I have been working diligently on my WiP Demon Mine and I have to say I am excited to announce that at 1:30 in the morning I typed the last words.  The MS sits comfortably at 23,839 words.  My first goal was just to get to 20k, so let me tell you I was excited to to surpass that goal.  Now mind you there is still editing to be done and then for me to submit it.  But I am so excited and nervous (lol and scared–just being honest).

Demon Mine has been a great journey for me and it marks my first actual MS that I have completed on my own (other than the MS I completed at the age of 13 LOL which a friend promptly lost).  I am so proud of this MS for so many reasons.
 1. It’s my own accomplishment.
2.  I absolutely love the story  and the characters.
3.  My journey as a writer has finally come full circle (and will continue).

I have so many people that have helped me along on my writing journey and I will never be able to thank you enough other than to say that I pledge to pay it forward. You’re kindness and friendship inspires me to do the same.  You all have encouraged me, beta read for me, edited for me and just been my friend through all of this.
I hope that you all know how much it is appreciated .

So I wanted to let you meet the characters. Liliana Jackson and her dark fallen angel the demon Samael.

Samael is a fallen angel doomed to repeat his life and love for Lilianna Jackson over and over again. That is until she finally remembers who she is and the reason for the curse that has befallen them both. For you see, Lilianna was once Lilith the first wife of Adam and the lover of Samael. Are they doomed to keep repeating the past? Or will their be a new future for the reincarnated lovers?

These two have been so fun to write.  Along with the other characters that are within the pages of Demon Mine and yes asking for their own stories to be told.  I love the journey of writing and I plan to visit it often.  Thank you my friends.  I will keep you updated on how editing goes, and whether or not Demon Mine get’s accepted.

Six Sentence Sunday— Purr

Hello everyone to my 6 sentences for 6 Sentence Sunday.

This is another work in progress titled Purr.  It is a Interracial F/F shifter paranormal erotic romance (boy that’s a mouthful) I am working  on.

Stalking her prey had never been easier.  The human girl made it easy.  She was out in the open and it was night.  She was deliciously naked even, as her feet dipped into the water at the lakes edge.  The human girl that Sasha had been wanting forever.  Sasha crouched low in the grass as she peered through the overly longish blades of grass at the buxom form of her quarry.

I hope you have enjoyed this little snippet of Purr.

Meet Willa, Schyler and Keenan from Falling Star

Hello all please welcome Willa and Schyler Brock and Keenan Fergason thank you all for coming and letting us get to know about about the three of you.
Character Interview: Willa and Schyler Brock and Keenan Fergason from “Falling Star” by Shay MacLean

How did the three of you meet?

Willa: *smiles and glances at Keenan seated on her left* Schy and I have been married for eight and a half years now.  And Kee and I started working together in the Peds Department about a year and a half ago.

Kee: *reaches over and lays his hand over Willa and Schy’s* And Willa introduced me to Schy at a hospital function. *g*

How do you feel about your life right now?

Schy: I think I can speak for all of us that we’re extremely happy that we are all together now.
What, if anything, would you like to change?
Kee & Schy: *in unison* Nothing.

Willa: *clears throat* Well I’d change the fact that they both steal all my blankets at night.

*Kee shares a conspiratorial smile with Schy though Willa doesn’t notice*

Where would you travel if you could go anywhere in the world?

Willa: I’d love to go to Hawaii, but these two keep hinting at going to Alaska. Even knowing that I’m not overly fond of the cold.

Schy: We’d keep you warm.

Willa: *glances at her husband* You know there are advantages to warmer climates too.

Kee: Like?

Willa: *turns head to look at Kee* Less clothes. *both guys moan* *Willa flashes a wicked evil grin*

Do you believe in public displays of affection?

Willa: *dies laughing* Do you really want to know about these two? When you read Falling Star you’ll see why I ask that. *g*

Do you want children?

Willa: Um…We haven’t talked about that yet. Someday maybe.

Schy: *clears throat*

Kee: *searches the room for something else to focus on*

What’s the difference between sexy and erotic?

Kee: I think there’s a fine line between sexy and erotic. A lot really depends on the person who is defining it, because what I might find sexy could be erotic to someone else. Sometimes what I find sexy I also find erotic.

*Willa and Schy nod in agreement.*

What is your secret sexual fantasy?

Willa/Schy/Kee: We’re living it. *huge grins all around*

Willa, how do you eat your Oreo cookies?

Willa: *grins* I twist it open slowly and lick up all the cream before nibbling the cookie halves until it’s gone.

*Schy and Kee squirm on the sofa as she describes how she eats them.*

Kee and Schy, boxers or briefs?

Schy: Boxers. Gives me room to breathe. *g*

Kee: *glances over at Willa and Schy* Nothing most of the time, but when I do wear them I choose boxers too.

Thank you so much you three for stopping by and letting all of into a little bit of your lives!  Readers please if you haven’t yet pick up Shooting Stars and Falling Star.  The links for that are at the end of this blog after the
Falling Star Blurb:

Willa Brock possesses everything a woman could hope for – great friends, a rewarding career and a loving husband – until her world begins to crumble. Almost overnight, she doubts her abilities as a doctor and must battle some inner demons she thought she’d laid to rest.

Although head over heels for his wife, Schyler still harbors a desire to be with men. When Willa confesses an attraction to the hot male nurse, Keenan, Schy goes out of his way to befriend him, hoping to satisfy his desires and ignite new ones with his wife. But he may not be able to convince Willa that loving Keenan won’t change how he feels about her.

Playing the role of odd-man out, Keenan needs to carve a place for himself with the two people he wants most; otherwise, he risks losing everything.

Just when it seems like the sky is falling they must close their eyes and wish upon a star…and embrace the possibility that combining three hearts will strengthen the love each holds for the other…

Excerpt:

Chapter 1

The snick of the bolt sliding into place echoed though the locker room as Willa scrambled to finish pulling on her T-shirt. Not now. I need to be alone. She didn’t want to talk to anyone. She needed to forget what happened–at least for a few moments.

“Where are you headed?” a masculine voice said.

She didn’t have to look to see who it was: Kee. His voice had haunted her dreams for the past two months. And tormented her waking moments as well. He and her husband, Schy, had become almost inseparable since Kee discovered her deep dark secret: Her tramp stamp.

In the last couple of weeks, they’d both started hinting that they wanted all three of them to be more than just friends. She’d been warming up to the idea. Until her run-in with Brian, her ex-fiancé. The things he’d revealed splashed cold water on the idea with the force of a waterfall.

“Did you know that Schy was involved with a man before he met you?” He’d asked her and she’d told him that she was fully aware of it, but she’d not been prepared for what he’d asked her next. “But, did he tell you he wasn’t the one to break it off?”

She shook her head to rid it of that information. Now was not the time to examine it and what it might mean. Especially with Kee standing behind her, watching her every move. “Out of here,” she said, the words coming out more terse than she meant.

“Okay. I’ll come with you.”

Willa finally looked around her locker door. He stood leaning against the wall near the door. His long muscled legs crossed at the ankles, his arms crossed over his chest like he didn’t have a care in the world. “I don’t think so, Kee. I need to be alone.” She pulled her purse out of the locker and shut it with a resounding bang.

Kee watched her as she slung her purse over her shoulder.

“The last thing you need is to be alone, Willa. I’m going to stick to you like glue until you get home to Schy.” He moved to stand in front of the door.

Willa’s head snapped up at the tone in his voice. “I don’t need a babysitter. I can make it home all by myself. Now move out of my way. I’m not in the mood for this shit.”

He straightened to his full six foot height. He would tower over her by a good five inches taller than her when she stood beside him. “No.”

“Okay, I’ll just call security then and let them come in here and they can escort you out.” She reached into her pocket for her cell phone.

“Schy was right. You shouldn’t be alone.”

Her fingers froze on the keypad. She looked up at him. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

Kee dropped his arms to his sides and moved forward, not stopping until mere inches separated them. “It means exactly what it sounds like. I called Schy after you refused to let me go with you to talk to that kid’s parents. You’ve been acting like a robot since you had to call it in the operating room, Willa. It’s not like you to bottle everything up.”

“You don’t know anything about me, Keenan. You don’t know if I ‘bottle things up’ at times or not. Now just leave me the hell alone and let me go.” She stared into his eyes. They’d gone from their normal sparkling green like sun dappled leaves to a deep emerald green. She hated that she knew already that they always seemed to do that when his emotions about something were strong.

They were that color a lot whenever he was around her or Schy.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that. Schy gave me strict instructions not to let you leave here, alone.” He gazed deep into her eyes before adding, “By any means necessary.”

Willa felt something snap inside. Schy and Kee were both acting like she belonged to them. Oh, they didn’t realize that she saw the way they stared down every guy that looked at her whenever they went out somewhere. Or the way they always seemed to flank her as they walked through a crowded area. This was the last straw though. She could ignore the subtle stuff, but demanding that she not leave somewhere without one of them was bullshit.

She’d had enough.

She narrowed her eyes on him. “I don’t care what the hell my husband said. I’m sick and tired of the two of you acting like I’m some sort of possession that you can pass back and forth. Neither one of you has the right to tell me when I can and can’t be alone.” She pushed past him, her arm brushing against his as she went. A jolt of awareness shot through her.

She pushed the feeling away. She was married. She couldn’t have feelings like that for another man.

Only for her husband.

She’d just reached the door when she felt Kee’s hand grab hold of one of her shoulders. He turned her around.

His eyes were intense, stormy and wild. He clenched his jaw as though trying to contain the emotion she saw swirling in their depths, an emotion she’d rather not contemplate at the moment. “Is that what you believe we think of you as, Willa? A possession?”

“Isn’t that what I just said? I don’t think I stuttered.” She tried to pull free of his grip, but only succeeded in making him tighten it.

“That is so not how either of us sees you,” he said, his voice thick and husky as though he was trying to hold back what he was feeling, but not quite succeeding.

“Really? Then tell me how it is that you see me, because from where I’m standing that’s what it looks like.”

“We see a woman who’s intelligent, vibrant, commanding, and sexy as hell. And we both just want the chance to hold onto you, even if only for a moment.”

Willa tried again to pull free. “That’s all good and fine, Kee, but have you forgotten that I’m married to Schy. You shouldn’t be thinking about holding me. Ever.”

I do hope you enjoyed the character interview and the excerpt from Falling Star!  Thanks for stopping by Shay!

Six Sentence Sunday: Hot For The Teacher

This week I am sharing six sentences from Hot For The Teacher (contracted by Keith Publications).  It is the Interracial Cougar Erotic Romance that I co-wrote with friend and Author Bella Rosso  .

Meet Professor Dyani Delacroix and college student Caleb Tegner:

“You do realize that you are close to failing? I find it puzzling, especially seeing as you have been my top student.”

He chuckled, “I hadn’t intended on failing, but you are a hard woman to catch the attention of.”

“Why on earth would you want to capture my attention, Caleb?”

His eyes slid back up to her face, their eyes locking. “Because you have captured mine.”

Six Sentence Sunday-Demon Mine continued

Last week I shared 6 sentences from my work in progress Demon Mine.  This week is going to be a continuation of that conversation that my hero Samael is having with the heroine’s sister Eva.  (If you need to, you can go back and find the beginning of the conversation here:
Now on to my new six below!

“Instead of wanting me!  He wanted her!”  The venom in those words were like icy talons dragging across his skin.

“So you spend every waking moment, every time she is reincarnated trying to sabotage Lili and I.”  The only proof of his annoyance was the shifting of his stance.

“Yes, it is what I live for after all.”
